On Thursday, December 4, power outages will continue in Ukraine according to the established schedules. Due to the massive shelling of the country's energy facilities, "Ukrenergo" reports that between 0.5 to 3 queues of electrical power may be turned off simultaneously.

The power outage schedules will operate throughout the day from 00:00 to 23:59. "Ukrenergo" urges Ukrainians to consume electricity sparingly, as the volumes and duration of restrictions may vary throughout the day.

The Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk also expressed concern about the situation with electricity transmission between regions due to the consequences of the shelling. According to him, nine nuclear power plant blocks are currently in operation, and there is a possibility of importing electricity at the level of 2.1 GW. However, the main challenge remains ensuring the capability of electricity transmission between the central and eastern energy systems.

“The situation in the energy system due to the shelling is quite complicated,” Kolisnyk noted during a press conference. In other regions of Ukraine, different volumes of outages are also observed: in the west up to two queues, in the south and central regions up to three, while in the north and east — up to three queues of outages.

“Final schedules for outages and information about changes will be published on the social media pages of regional energy companies,” added "Ukrenergo". Currently, in large cities such as Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Poltava, hourly power outages continue.

In Ukraine, due to damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian shelling, schedules for hourly power outages are being implemented for residential consumers and industrial enterprises.
