Famous Ukrainian actress Natalka Denisenko revealed the true reasons for her divorce from actor Andriy Fedinchik in an interview with Masha Efrosinina. According to the actress, their marriage faced serious problems, particularly during the full-scale war in Ukraine, when Fedinchik went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Natalka's opinion, it was the distance and the tension related to the war that negatively impacted their relationship. The actress admitted that she felt hurt by her husband, especially after the divorce. "Andriy hurt me, he hurt me very much. I understand why this happened — he was experiencing certain feelings due to what was happening at the front. He apologized, but if I hadn't filed for divorce, perhaps the relationship would have continued," she shared.
Statements and Consequences
Natalka also emphasized that the hurts she experienced were related to the actor's jealousy. According to Denisenko, her husband read comments on social media that sparked suspicions in him. "We had differing views on life, the war changed Andriy; he became harsher," she noted.
The actress believes she made a mistake by not expressing her feelings since she thought she had no right to do so while her husband was at war. She waited for a moment when she could share her experiences but eventually realized that "pity is not love."
Overall, the divorce, which occurred in May of this year, became an important lesson for both of them. The actors have a common son, Andriy, and despite the divorce, they try to maintain a good relationship for the child's sake.
The day after the interview was released, the godmother of their son, actress Ksenia Mishina, expressed her doubts regarding Natalka's words, calling them "mean" and urging people not to believe a word spoken by Denisenko.
