On Saturday, December 6, restrictions on electricity consumption will be implemented across Ukraine due to terrorist shelling of energy facilities. The energy company "Zakarpattiaoblenergo" has announced that the power outage schedules will affect all regions, including Zakarpattia.

Which Regions Will Be Affected?

According to "Ukrenergo," electricity funds have already suffered significant losses due to systemic failures. The power outages will last throughout the day, with volumes ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 shifts, depending on system load. Such measures will significantly impact industrial consumers, who will also experience limitations on electricity supply capacity.

Recommendations for Consumers

Energy workers emphasized the need for proper planning of household processes during power outages. They advise against turning on all appliances immediately after electricity is restored, as this can lead to emergency situations due to excessive load on the grid.

In connection with the outages, consumers are advised to monitor updates on the official pages of "Zakarpattiaoblenergo" and "Ukrenergo" to receive current information about the outage schedules.

Problems in Other Regions

It is worth noting that, in addition to the Zakarpattia region, power outages will also affect Kyiv and other key regions of Ukraine, including Dnipropetrovsk region, where schedules also anticipate limitations on electricity supply during peak energy loads.

Management of energy companies warns of the risks of potential large-scale outages but is prepared for any scenarios. Full restoration of the energy supply system in Ukraine could take up to 8 years after the end of hostilities.
