In Kyiv, after the massive Russian attack that took place on November 29, more than 500,000 consumers were left without electricity. According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, power outages also affected Kyiv region (about 100,000) and Kharkiv region (approximately 8,000 people). Emergency recovery work continues depending on the security situation.

As a result of four massive missile and drone attacks that led to reduced energy supply, Ukrenergo has approved new, stricter hourly outage schedules that apply across Ukraine. It is reported that on November 30, power outages will intensify: there will be outages of 0.5 to 3 shifts simultaneously throughout the day.

Power Outage Schedules

According to information from the company "DTEK," the changes affect not only the capital but also several regions. In particular, new schedules have been announced for Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. At this time, there have been no clarifications regarding the shifts for Kyiv, but it was reported that a significant number of residents were left without electricity.

Currently, in the Kyiv and neighboring regions, particularly in Chernihiv and Sumy, the energy supply situation remains critical due to ongoing shelling of the energy infrastructure by Russian troops. According to the head of "Ukrenergo," Vitaliy Zaychenko, the most difficult situation is currently in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions.

Residents are urged to follow information on the official websites of energy distribution companies in their regions, as the timing and extent of outages may change throughout the day. Additionally, a reduction in power outages in Ukraine is expected only after the energy situation stabilizes.
