Commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps Denys Kapustin Killed in FPV Drone Attack
On the Zaporizhzhia front line, the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) Denys Kapustin, known by the call sign WhiteRex, was killed. Representatives of the unit reported his heroic death.
Circumstances of Death
According to preliminary information, the commander was killed at night during a combat mission as a result of an FPV drone strike. The RVC emphasized that full details of the incident will be disclosed later.
About the Commander
Denys Nikitin (Kapustin) is from Moscow. Until 2022, he lived in Europe for a long time, studying in the Netherlands and Germany. In 2014, he visited Kyiv during the Euromaidan, after which he was finally convinced of the value of Ukrainian freedom.
Creation of RVC
The Russian Volunteer Corps was officially established in August 2022. The corps consisted of former Russian military personnel who rejected the "Russian world" ideology and aimed to fight against Putin's regime.
The RVC stated: "We will definitely avenge you, Denys".
