On Sunday, November 30, scheduled electricity outages will take place in the Zaporizhzhia region. Specialists from the Joint Stock Company "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" have developed new schedules, which once again confirm the necessity of stabilizing the situation in the Unified Energy System of Ukraine.

The electricity outages will last during the following time intervals:

  • 00:00 – 07:00 and 22:00 – 24:00 – 0.5 shifts;
  • 07:00 – 09:00 and 20:00 – 22:00 – 1.5 shifts;
  • 09:00 – 15:00 and 18:00 – 20:00 – 2.5 shifts;
  • 15:00 – 18:00 – 3 shifts.

To prevent accidents on the power grid, specialists warn: when electricity is restored, it is important to turn on electrical appliances one by one to avoid a sudden surge in consumption. This was reported by the spokesperson of JSC "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo", Zoreslava Tsuprenko, during a briefing.

According to information from NEC "Ukrenergo", the outage schedules may change based on new directives. Therefore, residents of Zaporizhzhia should monitor the information that will be updated on the company's official resources, including its Telegram channel.

This week, specialists from "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo" announced that the duration of outages has decreased due to repair work on energy equipment that was damaged as a result of shelling. Residents of the region can also take advantage of buses, as electric transport will not operate due to power interruptions.

It should be noted that trams and trolleybuses in Zaporizhzhia have halted their operations due to hourly electricity outages, prompting the city authorities to organize alternative bus routes.
