This week in Östersund (Sweden), the first stage of the 2025/26 World Cup in biathlon will commence. The competition will start with classic relay races, in which Ukrainian teams will participate.

Initial Competitions

On November 29 at 14:15 Kyiv time, the women's 4x6 km relay will take place. The Ukrainian quartet, which includes Valeriya Dytrenko, Kristina Dytrenko, Olena Horodnya, and Oleksandra Merkusina, will compete under the 8th starting number.

The men's team, consisting of Artem Tyshchenko, Vitaliy Mandzin, Bohdan Tsymbal, and Dmytro Pidruchny, will also represent Ukraine in the 4x7.5 km relay, which will start at 17:55.

Competition Schedule

Additional competitions are planned for the weekend, including the single mixed relay and mixed relay, which will take place on November 30. Here, participants will compete in individual races (December 2-3), sprints (December 5-6), and pursuit races (December 7).
