Large-Scale Planned Power Outages in Regions
NEC Ukrenergo announced the introduction of hourly electricity shutdown schedules on January 13 in seven Ukrainian regions due to the consequences of massive rocket and drone attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
Shutdown Schedules by Region
In particular, detailed schedules have been introduced for:
- Kyiv Region
- Rivne Region
- Zaporizhzhia Region
- Poltava Region
- Sumy Region
- Dnipropetrovsk Region
- Lviv Region
Shutdown Features
NEC Ukrenergo emphasized that schedules may dynamically change depending on the situation in the energy system. Hourly shutdown schedules will apply to household consumers, while industrial consumers will have power capacity limitation schedules.
Ukrainians are recommended to clarify current shutdown information for specific addresses on the official regional energy company pages in their regions.
