The Ukrainian tennis player "Julia Starodubtseva" was unable to qualify for the main draw of the "Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2026" tournament taking place in "Doha" (Qatar) with a prize fund of $4,088,211.

In the final round of qualifying, Julia, ranked 102nd in the WTA world rankings, faced the Japanese tennis player "Moyuki Uchijimi," who is ranked 87th. The match was intense and lasted 2 hours and 35 minutes. The result of the match: 6:2, 4:6, 4:6 in favor of the Japanese tennis player.

This defeat marked Starodubtseva's second attempt to qualify for the main draw at the tournament in "Doha." Last season, she also failed to reach the main competitions, exiting in the initial stage.

The main event of the "Qatar TotalEnergies Open" will take place from February 8 to 14. Preparing for this tournament has become an important part of the season for many female tennis players, including Starodubtseva.
