Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina successfully started at the WTA 250 tournament in Auckland, securing a confident victory in the first round.
In the match against French tennis player Varvara Gracheva (75), Svitolina, ranked 13th in the WTA world rankings, convincingly won with a score of 6:3, 6:1. The match lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes.

In the second round of the tournament, Elina will face British tennis player Katie Boulter (WTA 112). Interestingly, Boulter previously defeated another Ukrainian tennis player - Yulia Starodubtseva (WTA 111) with a score of 6:3, 6:3.
It's worth noting that this is already the third personal meeting between Svitolina and Gracheva, and for the third time, the Ukrainian athlete has emerged victorious.
