Today, December 15, 2025, hourly power outage schedules are being implemented in Ukraine due to the aftermath of massive missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation. The organization "Ukrenergo" has announced power supply restrictions in most regions of the country, including major cities.
Energy companies, particularly "DTEK," report the introduction of power outage schedules in the following regions:
- Kyiv: hourly outages will be in effect from 00:00 to 24:00.
- Dnipropetrovsk region: hourly outages are planned to stabilize the energy system.
- Zaporizhia region: outage schedules are active at various hours throughout the day.
- Kharkiv region: proposed outage periods include morning and evening hours.
- Cherkasy region: outage schedules have also been published, taking into account enemy shelling.
- Poltava region: power outages will occur according to hourly schedules that will change throughout the day.
In addition, Ukrainians are urged to conserve electricity while it is available to reduce the load on the energy system. Energy workers indicate the possibility of operational changes in the outage schedule, so it is recommended to check the current information on the official pages of regional energy companies.
It is worth noting that recent attempts of disinformation regarding the power supply situation in Ukraine have been recorded, spreading through resources disguised as Ukrainian. The Center for Counteracting Disinformation emphasizes the necessity of fact-checking and verifying information about power supply.
