Today, December 4, power outage schedules continue to be in effect in Ukraine. The head of the board of "Ukrenergo," Vitaliy Zaichenko, assured that the situation with electricity supply may improve after St. Nicholas Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on December 6.
According to Vitaliy Zaichenko, the most difficult situation is currently observed in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions, where consumers may be without electricity for more than 10 hours. "Energy workers are doing everything possible to reduce this period," he emphasized.
Power outages in Ukraine are a result of massive Russian attacks on the country's energy system, which intensified during the autumn period and recently led to blackouts for hundreds of thousands of consumers across the country.
