Winter support continues to be implemented in Ukraine: Ukrainians have already submitted more than 14 million applications to receive one thousand hryvnias, of which over 11.4 million were submitted through the "Diia" application. As part of the program developed by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the second stage of payments will start today.

Who can receive 1,000 hryvnias?

The payment will be received by Ukrainians who submitted their applications on the second day of the program's launch, as well as parents applying for child benefits. According to data, 3.5 million Ukrainians have already received these funds, using 473 million hryvnias. The money is most often spent on paying utility bills — over 80% of the expenses.

Payment Dates and Application Submission Methods

For those who submitted applications through "Ukrposhta," payments will start on December 6. The application acceptance program will continue until December 24 inclusively. You can submit an application:

  • through the "Diia" application in the "Services" section, where you need to select the option "Winter support";
  • at any "Ukrposhta" branch.

When submitting an application through "Diia," it is necessary to specify for whom the payment is being organized — for oneself or for a child. If for a child, the system will automatically pull up the birth certificate.

What are the received funds being spent on?

As of today, Ukrainians note that the funds are being spent on:

  • paying utility bills;
  • books;
  • medications;
  • donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Funds credited through "Diia" must be used by June 30, 2026. This allows Ukrainians to feel support during difficult times, receiving financial assistance for various needs.

We remind you that the most important condition for receiving payments is being on the territory of Ukraine, so Ukrainians who are abroad will not be able to take advantage of this opportunity.
