More than 51% of Russia’s oil refining capacity has reportedly been disabled as a result of systematic long-range strikes by Ukraine’s Defense Forces, according to Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara.

According to the minister, facilities struck in recent operations include the Moscow, Yaroslavl, Perm, Ilsky, Saratov and Syzran oil refineries, as well as KINEF and the Ust-Luga complex.

Khmara said these operations are intended to have a cumulative effect. Their objective is to weaken Russia’s military and economic potential, reduce its revenues, and limit its ability to supply and sustain its armed forces.

At the same time, Ukraine continues to expand its long-range strike capabilities. This year, the country has tripled the production and procurement of long-range attack drones.

Ukraine plans to further scale up the production of long-range strike systems and continue targeting facilities that support Russia’s military capabilities.
