The SBU's Military Counterintelligence Department has developed a new Ukrainian interceptor drone designed to destroy jet-powered Shahed drones. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad, the new system has already been successfully tested and deployed in real-world operations.
The next step is to increase the number of these interceptor drones. Work is currently underway to scale up production of the new weapon and strengthen Ukraine's capabilities to counter Russian attack drones.
