"Ukrenergo" reported a critical situation in Ukraine's energy system. Due to massive rocket and drone attacks by Russian troops across the country, emergency power outage schedules have been introduced.

Reasons for Emergency Shutdowns

Ukrenergo officially stated a significant complication in the energy system. The main reason is damage caused by enemy attacks on power plants and substations.

Power Outage Schedules in Regions

On January 24, large-scale rolling blackouts are expected in all regions. Specifically:

  • Odesa Region: electricity will be cut off 2 to 4 times per day
  • Dnipropetrovsk Region: most areas will have power cut 2-3 times daily
  • Lviv Region: nine sub-areas will have power cut three times per day
