Large-Scale Power Outages in Regions
On Friday, January 9, almost all regions of Ukraine continue to have hourly power outage schedules due to the consequences of systematic missile and drone attacks by Russian troops on energy infrastructure facilities.
Situation in Lviv
In Lviv and the region, "Lvivoblenergo" has published a detailed shutdown schedule for different consumer groups. The schedules provide for 2-3 power outages during the day with intervals from 3.5 to 4.5 hours.
Kyiv and Kyiv Region
DTEK has announced schedules for the capital and the region. Residents of Kyiv will have electricity turned off twice or thrice during the day, depending on the consumer group. The total duration of power outages will range from 5.5 to 10.5 hours.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, electricity supply has been partially restored after large-scale Russian military attacks. Residents of the region who have had their power restored expect outages from 5.5 to 11.5 hours.
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation in the energy system may change, so they recommend following updates on the official pages of regional energy companies in their respective regions.
