On the night of January 5, Russian troops struck a private medical facility in the Obolon district of Kyiv, resulting in one death and four people injured.
Attack Details
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, 4 people were wounded, with two in critical condition. Notably, a man born in 1995 who was receiving inpatient treatment was killed.
Victims
Among the injured are three women:
- A 42-year-old woman received assistance on-site
- 77-year-old and 97-year-old women were hospitalized
Evacuation
Out of 26 patients from the private clinic, 16 people were transferred to municipal hospitals in the capital. A total of 25 people were evacuated.
Authorities' Response
Kyrylo Fesyk, head of the Obolon District Administration, reported that rescue workers and specialized services are working to safely evacuate staff and patients.
The air raid lasted over 4 hours, during which Kyiv's air defense units repelled the enemy attack.
