As of December 27, most regions of Ukraine will have hourly electricity disconnection schedules due to damage from Russian rocket and drone attacks.
Shutdown Schedules
According to NEC "Ukrenergo", electricity will be unavailable from 5 to 10 hours per day in various shifts. Specifically:
- In Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast: electricity outages throughout the day
- In Dnipropetrovsk region (including Kryvyi Rih): up to 10 hours without electricity
- Most difficult situation in the controlled part of Donetsk region
Problematic Regions
Ukrenergo's head Vitaliy Zaichenko reported the most challenging situation in regions close to the front: Donetsk, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
Energy workers warn that the situation may change depending on the consequences of possible enemy attacks.
