Unfortunately, Ukraine has lost another creative artist. The 38-year-old singer, founder of the popular band "ADAM," Mykhailo Klymenko, has passed away after a long stay in a coma. His death became known on December 7 through a message posted by his wife, Oleksandra Norova, on her Instagram page.
The performer of famous hits "Povylyno" and "Take Me As I Am" had been battling a severe illness for a long time — tuberculous meningitis, which affects the membranes of the brain and the nervous system. Mykhailo was hospitalized for over two months, spending part of that time in intensive care.
In her message, Oleksandra expressed her sorrow: "Unfortunately, this morning Misha's kind heart stopped." She also noted that the place for farewell to the artist would be announced soon.
Mykhailo Klymenko was born on July 20, 1987, in Hostomel, Kyiv region. In 2015, together with his wife, he created the band "ADAM," where he represented a family duet. The couple had been together since 2009 and raised two children.
Before his death, the team and close friends supported Mykhailo in his fight for life, urging fans to pray and finance treatment, which cost over 25 thousand hryvnias a day.
This loss is a great tragedy for the Ukrainian music community, which has lost a talent and a wonderful person at a critical moment.
