As a result of regular shelling of energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv region, the company "Kharkivoblenergo" has announced new electricity blackout schedules. These measures have become necessary due to the complex situation caused by attacks from Russian troops on energy systems, including thermal power plants and hydropower stations.
In particular, residents of Kharkiv and the surrounding areas should consider the new restrictions on electricity supply. "Kharkivoblenergo" urges consumers to stock up on necessary resources and plan their activities considering the blackout schedules. The head of "Ukrenergo," Vitaliy Zaychenko, noted that the situation is currently most critical in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions.
Electricity blackout schedules
One of the main electricity blackouts will occur during the morning and evening hours, with one of them lasting up to four hours. "Kharkivoblenergo" has already provided specific schedules for the region, which cover different hours for various groups of consumers.
Important points:
- First schedule: blackout from 08:30 to 12:30, from 19:00 to 23:00
- Second schedule: blackout from 08:30 to 12:30, from 19:00 to 21:00
- In total, two daily blackouts are set for each group, ready to be implemented depending on the situation.
In light of recent events, consumers should remain informed of changes and be prepared for unforeseen blackouts at any time. "Kharkivoblenergo" recommends following official announcements and messages in the media.
Earlier in the capital of Ukraine, "DTEK" also announced blackout schedules similar to those implemented in Kharkiv, indicating a nationwide problem.
It is possible that the situation in the energy sector will improve in the future, but for now, each consumer must stay calm and follow the instructions of energy companies.
