In today's world, the boundaries between male and female professions are gradually disappearing. The best proof of this is the stories of women who dare to take a new path in traditionally male-dominated fields, such as logistics. One of them is Vira Babiy, a driver for "MHP-Logistics," who has demonstrated that professionalism knows no gender.
When Vira first got behind the wheel of a 20-ton truck, she didn't know that this moment would mark the beginning of a new chapter in her life. The former head of the village council from Vinnytsia took a risk and participated in free training for female drivers of category “C,” passing the selection among thousands of applications.
A New Life on the Road
During her training, Vira visited regional logistics centers and met people who became her mentors. "When you are behind the wheel of a big machine and feel how it follows your command — it's incomparable," Vira shares. At "MHP-Logistics," professionals are valued regardless of gender, emphasizing that only knowledge, the desire to learn, and improve matter.
Team Support
Vira recalls her first trip when her colleagues supported her every kilometer of the way. "In the company, there is no division into female or male professions — there is only professionalism," she says. While working at "MHP," Vira had the opportunity to continue her education, mastering the international 95 code.
Support for Young Specialists
Such success stories are characteristic of "MHP-Logistics." Warehouse manager Marina Lavrenko also grew within the company's professional hierarchy since 2018. She keeps track of spare parts and organizes warehouse operations without feeling biased in her profession. "There is room for development and creativity in the warehouse," emphasizes Marina.
The company "MHP" actively supports its employees by offering opportunities for development and participation in programs such as "Future Leaders," which helps improve management skills.
Sports Spirit and Team Unity
No less important is the development of team spirit. This week in Vinnytsia, table tennis competitions were held among "MHP" employees, where participants from different divisions demonstrated their professionalism and skills, uniting the team.
"MHP is not just a company. It's a large family where everyone can realize their potential," Vira concludes.
