Ukrenergo reports emergency electricity disconnections in several regions of Ukraine due to the consequences of Russian missile attacks. As of the morning of January 6, previously published hourly power outage schedules have been invalidated due to infrastructure strikes.
Situation in Regions
The most challenging situation is in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, where subscribers are without power. In particular, most of the city of Slavutych in Kyiv region has been without electricity since Monday.
Recommendations for the Population
Ukrenergo calls on people to be economical with energy consumption: maximize limiting the use of powerful electrical appliances and, if possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to nighttime hours — after 11:00 PM.
Current Energy System Status
As of 9:30, electricity consumption is 2.7% lower than the previous day's level, which is related to increased disconnections. Restoration work continues wherever safety conditions permit.
DTEK emphasizes that outage schedules may change, so they recommend following current information through their official communication channels.
