Forward of "Dynamo" U19 Matviy Ponomarenko shared his impressions after the away match of the 13th round of the U19 National League, where the team from Kyiv won against "Koloss" with a score of 1:0. The game took place under difficult weather conditions — fog and rain, but the young players were able to showcase their skills.

"It was a very tough game because the weather conditions were challenging. But I believe that today we played excellently," said Ponomarenko, emphasizing that the team was motivated to win since they had not been able to do so for two consecutive seasons. The forward mentioned that the guys in the team discussed this game a week before the match and were set on victory.

Matviy Ponomarenko was the author of the only goal in the match, commenting on the episode: "We intercepted the ball in the midfield. I ran out of offside, and Redushko saw that there was almost nobody near me and gave me the open space. I outplayed the defender and shot into the lower left corner." This not only helped the team win but also became his personal achievement — the forward increased his record goal tally in the U19 National League.

Despite the victory, Ponomarenko noted that "Dynamo" could have scored more since the team made a lot of shots on goal, but not all of them were successful. "Maybe we were a bit unlucky, as there were also hits on the posts and crossbars," he added.

Now the team is already preparing for an important match against "Hibernian" in the UEFA Youth League. "We understand that it will be a tough game. We need to start preparing for the next match right now," concluded Ponomarenko.
