Kyiv's "Dynamo" will play away against the Italian team "Fiorentina" as part of the 5th round of the main stage of the Conference League. Ahead of the match, acting head coach of "Dynamo" Igor Kostyuk gave an extensive interview to media representatives, where he discussed his team's preparation for the game.

Injuries and Player Returns

Kostyuk reported that due to injuries, the team will not be able to rely on Denys Popov and captain Vitalii Buyalskyi. However, experienced players Andrii Yarmolenko and Kristian Bilovar have returned to the squad, which could significantly strengthen "Dynamo" for the match.

Opponent Analysis

Speaking about "Fiorentina," Kostyuk noted that the Italian club has spent 70 million euros on new players and should not be underestimated. "This is a worthy team that, despite being in the last place in the league, can put up a fight," the coach emphasized.

Game Objectives

Kostyuk also added that "Dynamo" still has chances to advance to the spring stage of the European cup, so the team is focused on achieving the best possible result. "We will try to enter the field in a fighting mood and do everything possible for victory," he concluded.

Responsibility for the Ukrainian People

When asked about the responsibility for the country, Kostyuk mentioned that the team plays not only for themselves but also for the Ukrainian military who support them. "This is symbolic, and we feel this responsibility," the coach stated.

The match "Fiorentina" – "Dynamo" will take place today at the "Artemio Franchi" stadium in Florence at 19:45 Kyiv time. A Serbian refereeing team headed by Miloš Milanović will officiate the match.
