Large-Scale Planned Power Outages in Regions

DTEK has published hourly electricity shutdown schedules for Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, and Kyiv city on January 11.

Kyiv Region

According to the energy company, queue 2.2 will have the most hours without electricity - a total of 8 hours. The least shutdowns are expected in queues 3.2 and 6.2 - 4 hours each.

In parts of Brovary and Boryspil districts, emergency shutdowns are ongoing, where planned schedules do not apply.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

Schedules for the Dnipropetrovsk region are stricter. Queues 1.1, 2.1, and 2.2 will have the most hours without electricity - 13 hours each. The least shutdowns will be in queues 1.2 and 6.2, with 8.5 hours each.

Kyiv

In the capital, the longest outages are expected in queue 5.2 - a total of 12 hours. Consumers in queues 4.2 and 6.1 will experience the least darkness - 4 hours each.

DTEK emphasizes that emergency shutdowns are continuing in certain Kyiv districts, including Pechersk, Holosiivskyi, and the Left Bank.

Reasons for Shutdowns

According to Ukrenergo representatives, the reason for implementing restrictions is the consequences of Russian rocket and drone attacks on energy facilities.

Experts note that Ukraine's energy system can recover from attacks, but available reserves are gradually being depleted.
