DTEK has published hourly electricity supply limitation schedules for Kyiv on January 12, announcing a maximum disconnection period of up to 12 hours.
Reasons for Restrictions
The main reason for implementing electricity supply schedules is the consequences of massive Russian rocket and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Due to damages, energy companies are forced to resort to controlled blackouts.
Outage Schedule Features
According to DTEK, the schedules will not apply to parts of Pechersk, Holosiivskyi districts, and the Left Bank of Kyiv, where emergency disconnections are ongoing. For other capital consumers, the maximum period without electricity will be almost 12 hours.
Company Commentary
"If there are changes, we will promptly inform users," DTEK emphasized.
We remind you that the situation in the energy system may change, so residents are recommended to follow updates on official energy company pages.
