The head coach of Dynamo Kyiv, Alexander Shovkovskyi, held a press conference ahead of the match of the 4th round of the main stage of the Conference League against the Cypriot team Omonia. During the event, Shovkovskyi discussed the state of the team and the importance of fan support during this challenging time.

"Our team is going through tough times, and the results of the recent matches are not encouraging. We constantly communicate with the club president, discussing games, results, and strategies for the future," Shovkovskyi noted.

The coach spoke about the team's losses: "In addition to the already injured Yarmolenko, Shaparenko, and Bilovar, there is also Brazhko, who suffered a rib fracture after the game against Kolos. Unfortunately, he will not be able to help the team in the near future."

Expectations from the game against Omonia

Shovkovskyi also touched on the preparations for the match: "We have diligently studied Omonia's play and are ready for a healthy competition. This will be an important match not only for us but also for the opponent, who has rich experience in international tournaments," the coach emphasized.

"I am confident that the 11 players who step onto the field will show their best qualities, play with heart, and have the desire to win," he added.

Support from the fans

"Your support is extremely important for the team right now. We are all working to improve the results, and we know that together with you, we can overcome these difficulties," Shovkovskyi addressed the fans.

Before the match, the team feels a high level of responsibility, as the results in the Conference League currently leave much to be desired. The coach expressed hope for an improved situation that would allow Dynamo to return to the path of victories.
