Today, February 7, 2026, a large-scale air alert has been declared across Ukraine due to the threat of missile attacks from Russia. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, launches of cruise missiles are being detected in various regions of the country.

Situation in the Regions

Currently, activity of hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed type has been observed, attacking from the east, south, and north. In particular:

  • In the Kyiv region, near Yahotyn, UAVs have been detected coming from the east.
  • In Chernihiv and Sumy regions, several dozen groups of UAVs are moving towards Poltava region.
  • In Kharkiv region, there is also a threat from the north towards Vilshana.
  • The danger extends to Northern Kherson region and through Mykolaiv to Odesa.

Guidelines for the Public

The military urges the public to follow safety rules, remain in safe places, and not to ignore air alert signals. According to our sources, the Air Force stresses the importance of readiness for possible strikes.

As previously reported, the threat of military invasion remains amid active actions by Russia, which include the takeoff of MiG-31K fighters that can carry Kinzhal missiles.
