Today, December 14, hourly power outage schedules are being implemented in Ukraine. According to the information from the energy system operator "Ukrenergo," these restrictions will apply in all regions, including the capital.

Power outages due to the consequences of attacks

The reason for the implementation of outage schedules is the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks that were carried out against Ukrainian energy facilities. In particular, due to shelling in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, hourly outage schedules are currently not in effect. "Ukrenergo" reports that a significant number of consumers in these regions are left without electricity.

Electricity consumption mode

Across the entire territory of the country, there is currently a need for energy-saving consumption. Consumers are recommended to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances and, if possible, to shift energy-intensive processes to night hours after 11:00 PM.

Outage schedules in different regions

In Kyiv and other regions where hourly outages are in effect, consumers can familiarize themselves with the current schedules through the official websites of their energy distribution companies. For example, in the Zaporizhzhia region, outages will occur according to the following schedules:

  • 1.1: 03:00 — 08:00, 12:00 — 17:00, 21:00 — 24:00
  • 1.2: 03:00 — 08:00, 12:00 — 17:00
  • 2.1: 07:30 — 12:30, 16:30 — 21:30
  • 2.2: 00:00 — 03:30, 07:30 — 12:30, 16:30 — 21:30

The operator "Ukrenergo" urges consumers to be prepared for potential changes in outage schedules and to follow recommendations for energy conservation.
