Today, December 9, a farewell was held at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine for the Ukrainian singer and leader of the band "ADAM," Mykhailo Kylymenko, who passed away on December 7 at the age of 39 after a prolonged battle with tuberculous meningitis. The ceremony gathered family, fans, and stars of the Ukrainian show business.
The singer's widow, Oleksandra Norova, delivered a touching speech in which she shared memories of their extraordinary love and support for each other over nearly 18 years. She noted that her husband's death left a "huge void" in her heart. Oleksandra recalled Mykhailo's last days: "I prayed so much, I screamed, but perhaps God has his own plans for all of us." Her words brought the attendees to tears.
The ceremony also featured performances by several well-known artists who sang songs of the "ADAM" band, and posters with quotes from his most popular songs were placed at the entrance. Colleagues and friends of the singer participated in the farewell event, including Volodymyr Dantes, KOLA, Dmytro Monatik, and others.
Mykhailo Kylymenko left behind a rich musical legacy, and his songs "Slowly" and other tracks continue to inspire numerous fans. The church service and burial will take place in the village of Lub'yanka in the Kyiv region.
It should be noted that Mykhailo Kylymenko battled a severe illness for a long time, being in a coma for two months, and unfortunately, he could not overcome the ailment that took his life.
