As of today, November 24, power outage schedules for residential consumers are in effect in Ukraine, as approved by the company "Ukrenergo." The outages affect all consumption areas, including Dnipropetrovsk.

The reason for the mass outages is the consequence of recent missile and drone attacks by the Russian armed forces, which have severely damaged the country's energy infrastructure. "Ukrenergo" reported that the number of outages may vary from 0.5 to 3 shifts simultaneously depending on the situation.

Situation in Dnipropetrovsk Region

According to information from "Ukrenergo," the most challenging situation is observed in Dnipropetrovsk region, where more than 60,000 consumers remain without electrical services. Additionally, another 10,000 consumers in the neighboring Kharkiv region have also been affected as a result of targeted attacks.

The previously mentioned outages in Ukraine also include power limitations for industrial consumers, who have also experienced significant changes due to shifts in load caused by increased electricity demand resulting from the cold weather in the country.

Calls for Caution

"Ukrenergo" warns that the schedules may change throughout the day and urges the public to follow the current information on the pages of regional energy companies on social media.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Minister of Energy stated that the country's energy system is currently going through challenging times due to serious attacks on electricity generation and transmission facilities.
