Ukrainian Football Association President and legendary forward of AC Milan Andriy Shevchenko expressed his opinion on the current form of both clubs, stating that Inter is the stronger contender in the race for the Scudetto.
In a comment for the publication "Repubblica," Shevchenko said: "I believe that Inter is better prepared than Milan and is the main favorite to win the Scudetto." He emphasized that the Nerazzurri have a strong squad capable of achieving great heights, thanks to the efforts of coach Simone Inzaghi.
Shevchenko noted that "Kivu is doing a tremendous job and has the right ideas to bring Inter back to victory in the championship." He also mentioned that compared to last year, the Inter team has managed to significantly strengthen itself.
The legend of Ukrainian football also expressed concern about Milan, noting that his former team is currently not well-prepared enough to compete with Inter: "Milan needs to take several steps to close this gap."
Current expectations for the Serie A matches: At the moment, Inter occupies second place in the table, trailing Napoli by just one point, with a match in hand. Milan is in fifth place in the standings.
