During the night of January 24, Russian occupation troops carried out a massive attack on the capital of Ukraine, using strike drones and ballistic missiles. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the shelling resulted in one fatality and over 10 casualties.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported impacts in various city districts, including:
- Holosiivskyi District: non-residential building damaged
- Solomianski District: hit in a 6-story office building
- Dniprovskyi District: fire in a parking lot due to falling debris

Casualties
According to official data, as of 03:00, one person is confirmed dead and four are injured. Two of the injured are hospitalized in critical condition in Kyiv hospitals.
Authorities' Response
Head of Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko urged Kyiv residents to immediately seek shelter. Air Force reported Russian troops launching ballistic missiles towards the capital.
