Power Supply Schedule Causes Outrage Among Regional Residents

Chernivtsi Energy Company has published another hourly power outage schedule, which provides for up to 18 hours without electricity for different consumer groups.

Details of the Outage Schedule

According to the published information, there are 12 different consumer groups, each with prolonged electricity supply interruptions. In particular:

• Groups 1-2: Three disconnections of 1.5 hours each (02:30-04:00, 10:30-12:00, 18:30-20:00)
• Groups 5-6: Three disconnections, including night and evening periods
• Groups 10-12: Complex schedules with night and morning interruptions

In many groups, the total duration of power outages will be almost 6 hours per day.

Public Reaction

In the neighboring Khmelnytskyi region, similar prolonged outages have already led to mass protests, with people blocking roads due to electricity supply inconveniences.

Residents of Bukovina are expecting more detailed explanations from local energy companies regarding the reasons and duration of such large-scale disconnections.
