The Ukrainian national futsal team today at 5:00 PM played their first match at the 2026 European Championship, hosted by the cities of Kaunas (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), and Lublin (Poland).
In the group stage match, the "blue and yellow" team met Armenia. This is the first match for the Ukrainian team at the continental championship.
Tournament Format
The final tournament includes 16 teams divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.
Championship Groups
- Group A: Croatia, France, Latvia, Georgia
- Group B: Ukraine, Armenia, Lithuania, Czech Republic
- Group C: Slovenia, Belarus, Spain, Belgium
- Group D: Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Poland
Portugal's futsal team will defend their championship title for the second consecutive time. The tournament will run until February 7.
