In the German town of Ruhpolding, the starting race of the fifth stage of the 2025/26 Biathlon World Cup has concluded. The Ukrainian women's team, consisting of Khrystyna Dmytrenko, Daryna Chalyk, Valeriia Dmytrenko, and Olena Gorodna, competed in the 4x6 km relay.

Following the competition, the Ukrainian team finished in 14th place, with a result of 3 minutes and 51.5 seconds behind the leaders. In total, 19 teams were at the start.

Relay Results

The Norwegian biathletes claimed victory, completing the distance without penalty loops and using 9 additional cartridges. They beat the Italian team by 0.9 seconds. The Swedish team took third place.

Upcoming Competitions

The next Biathlon World Cup stage will take place from January 22-25 in the Czech city of Nové Město. Before that, Ruhpolding will host the men's 4x7.5 km relay, women's and men's sprints, as well as pursuit races.
