Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk confidently secured her place in the WTA 500 tournament final in Brisbane (Australia), decisively defeating world's sixth-ranked Jessica Pegula with a score of 6:0, 6:3.

In the semi-final match, Kostyuk (ranked 26th in WTA) displayed an impressive performance, defeating the American tennis player in just 56 minutes. This is her fourth career final and her first since the tournament in Stuttgart in April 2024.

In the singles final of Brisbane International presented by ANZ on January 11, Kostyuk will face world number one Aryna Sabalenka. In their previous personal encounters, Sabalenka has led with a score of 4:0.

The tournament winner will receive a trophy, $214,530, and 500 points in the world ranking.
