"Lvivoblenergo" unexpectedly adjusted the electricity outage schedule for January 8, 2026. In particular, for group 5.1, nighttime power outages from 00:00 to 02:00 have been completely cancelled, resulting in a reduction of total downtime from 5.5 to 3.5 hours.
Outage Schedule for Lviv Region
As of 23:22 on January 7, the longest power supply limitations remain for:
- Group 1.2 - 7.5 hours without electricity
- Group 4.2 - 7 hours without electricity
Situation in Kyiv
In the capital and Kyiv region, stabilization outage schedules continue to be in effect. According to DTEK, some schedules will have only one power cut today.
Specialists urge citizens to consume electricity economically and avoid turning on multiple powerful devices simultaneously.
The reason for the electricity deficit is hostile strikes on Ukraine's energy system infrastructure and increased consumption due to cold weather.
